Pokйmon Tales: Myth Busting (Finale)
#1

Hello.

Some of you might be familiar with Pokйmon, some won't. However, it's been a huge part of my childhood - we had a lot of fun with the series, the cards, the gameboy.

But, Pokйmon isn't just all about stuffed animals whom fight each other for fun. It has been, since its release, been a thread of haunted games, creepy stories and whatsoever. All of them are fake, but pretty enjoyable to read. I will tell it as if it is actually true - to increase reading pleasure, of course

I will explain you them in a serie of tales, consisting of 4 parts.

Part VI: Myth Busting (Finale)

In this part I will explain to you why the myths are false and where the story contains some flaws. Most of this will be boring, though I'll save the most interesting ones for last.

Part III: Cursed Black
Part IV: Lost Silver
These two are kind of obvious. They were fanmade, no copies were found, and the story got posted on a site called creepypasta. Creepypasta is a site where you post fictional paranormal stories to scare other people, mostly for Halloween etc. That's it. Nice explanation.

Part V: Haunted Blue
Albeit being the most interesting story, in my opinion, it is a fake. Proof? The channel owner posted it in the video description himself.

"*This is an ARG/interactive story and the events are fictional*"

He also made a spin-off of the series with simply too much weird stuff in it. I only watched few of them, but it was about some kind of conspiracy with people who work both for an organisation and the government who want something of him.

The story itself was fantastic however, good acting, nice footage. Like The Blairwitch Project, but then more interactive.

Part I: Unit 731
As you can see in the footage, you already see that it is recorded on a computer. So not a real cartridge, which makes it already kindof suspicious. Editing a computer program is much easier than editing a cartridge.

Redirect_Left tried this on his own emulator and didn't get any of it. Funny how he attempted it though

However there is a full story, partly about this and partly about the Lavender Town Syndrome on pastebin (click). Creepy again, but really not believable if you read the next explanation.

Unit 731 on itself really happened, sadly enough.

Part II: Lavender Town Syndrome
This one was, I think, the one with the best reactions on it here and on *******. I gave me explanation already a few weeks ago there and it got me a top comment

I told you how to do it yourself using those programs. You could also see those sprites on your screen, which makes the story very believable. Though, there is a flaw in it. I provided you the audio as well.

I never gave you the original audio sound. I gave you the link to the edited audio Problem?

So no, in the original audio, this ghost does not appear, not the letters. Apart from that, it wouldn't be possible as well: GameBoy speakers are not able to perform these high and low tones, nor are they able to make binaural beats. The Unowns didn't exist in the first generation.

The story about "hundred's of children being depressed and 2 suicides" is false. This would likely have left a trail of evidence, which doesn't exist. This fact proves the previous pastebin story wrong as well.

Binaural beats do exist, but scientists haven't agreed yet if it's due to the placebo effect or really because of the beats. The placebo effect is when you really think something will happen and therefore it will happen. If you think you're sick, you might become sick. Has been proven tons of times already. Claiming to give people painkillers yet you just give them sugar pills. Most of the people will notice decreasing pain, as they believe they have gotten a painkiller.

The bridge story also really happened. I didn't believe it was real, as you can't expect concrete to act like a fluid, do you? But in my studies, we saw this in physics and yeah, it's possible yet rare.

You could claim earlier that Nintendo demolished all trails about those children for commercial reasons. Yet, if you compare this to another story, a story which really happened, you'll notice soon you can't just hide that.

In one of the first Pokйmon Episodes, Electric Soldier Porygon, something happened causing Pokйmon to go off air for some months. Porygon is a mechanical Pokйmon and in the episode he fights in cyberspace against team rocket. At one point of the episode, they fire lazers and other digital stuff, and the impact is shown as quickly alternating red and blue screens. This caused over 700 children to have an epileptic seizure.

They didn't hide this either. On the contrary, this episode is featured in the Guinness Book of World Records as "Most Photosensitive Epileptic Seizures Caused by a Television Show".

Well, I guess that's it. I hope you enjoyed reading my stories, I really put some hours into it (but I loved making them). Remember these stories or re-read them anytime when you're out camping with some friends. Childhood memories are always cool to make creepy stories about

Thanks for the support
