First of all, PC means Personal Computer, It has nothing to do with the operating system.
Secondly, by saying that you are a PC means that you are a dumb machine that relies on human written instructions in order to do anything, aka a TOOL.

So, yeah... I think those commercial dudes should fix their terminology. A Mac is an operating system running on a PC, with a company name attached.

What do you think?

I think the new Windows OS is great (Windows 7). But I still favor Linux more than anything. As for Mac... I'm not the biggest fan... never really liked em. Although Mac is basically Linux... just screwed up.

laptops shouldn't be call laptops they should be call PC for meaning Portable Computer and the real PC it means Desktop computer

What about games? Most of them are released on Windows/Xbox (Microsoft) and PS3.

I use a Mac on daily basis at school. OS X is one of the worst operating systems I've ever used. The brand new Macs are so slow, and OS X is so unstable it's not even funny. With Mac, hell, all Apple products, you're paying for the name. You could build a PC with like 3-4x better specs than a Mac for half the cost.

I know you're going to say "oh, that's a school computer, all of them are junk because people fuck with them", well it's only been used by ONE class so far, and that's the class I'm in.

As for me, Windows 7 is probably one of the greatest operating systems ever, it's so stable and fast, at par with XP. Most distros of Linux like Ubuntu on the other hand, are totally unstable, slow, and useless.

Then you're doing it DRASTICALLY wrong. Linux is proven to be the most stable operating system currently available, and is only slow if your computer is ancient (Most distributions run on very low spec, lower than Windows XPs requirements) and Linux is far from useless..

Linux is far from useless, a good chunk of websites are hosted on linux servers. I use Fedora as a desktop OS, and it's great. It also runs faster than XP for me

With a Mac, you can bootcamp Windows, or Dual Boot Mac and another OS.

NASA also uses python

CERN has their own linux distro also

BTW iTails, I don't think NASA made red hat. Maybe, maybe not but IDK
If that's not what you were implying excuse me for misunderstanding.

Using Mac as a desktop, using Windows for playing games and using Linux for servers.
Perfect combination to be honest, using each system for their pros.
