There's no such thing as "Anti DDoS" for game servers. Even Cisco Guard's can be flooded.

If you have a 1Gbps Cisco firewall, and your attacker has an attack magnitude of 1.5Gbps, the firewall will be flooded and your server will still go offline.
1.5Gbps > 1.0Gbps. Simple math.

That's untrue. I doubt theres such a thing as a proffesional DDoSer haha. It just means he needs more bandwith, for that he needs a bigger cluster of servers (or infected computers practically the same).

A 1Gbps attack is not too difficult for even a skid to pull together nowadays thanks to lowered server prices however it would flood most server ports and is generally large enough to get null routed by your DC.

For cheap? I know a lot of people who've had a good experience with BuyVM's DDoS protected service.
Basically, they just route traffic from Awknet's filters in Los Angeles down to their racks in San Jose - I could be wrong though.
Trouble is, they're out of stock rather a lot.
