StreetGT and Smacky, whoa you guys are sure fanboys with no knowledge about this stuff. For gaming AMD isn't better than Intel, where did you find that crap? And nor is Intel better for gaming..

AlienWare uses Intel because they're more expensive and many unexperienced people believe higher price is better. Sure many Intel models are great, but many AMD's are too.

@SlashPT - lol that's miserable..You rate companies based on two models? I understand you're bragging with your PC in the signature and all, but please don't be such a fool to think just because an i7 beats one AMD that AMD is bad now. Price is also an important factor.

I love it how only on this forum are people so sure that one brand is better than the rest, it's hard to find fanboys like that at other places.

And we already answered your question..don't get 8GB, 4 or 6GB is more than enough for your PC which will be outdated in a while.

My computer stats:

And it can run GTA IV, Black Ops, APB without any lag, maxed out.

I am pretty damn sure you can to.

Firstly im not comparing companies with two models read what i said first...

If you don't know how to read that's not my fault.

I just said that even the 2600k not one TOP processor from Intel can beat the TOP from AMD , even they are really different because one is Quad-Core ( the 2600k ) and the AMD is Hexa-Core , so resuming what i said it means that all CPU's better than 2600k and still there are many others worst than the intel 2600k can beat the best AMD processor and now do you tell me that there's no difference on their parts? Please you gotta be joking right? because im already laughing at you!

I never said the price isn't important BUT here we aren't talking what's cheaper but we are talking about performance.

Secondly im not one Intel Fanboy even i was going to buy one AMD processor when i bought my computer but later i got some more money and i bought the Intel i7 920 which is better/same as the AMD that i was going to buy ( AMD 1055T ) and it overclocks alot better ( that is not discussable , Intel one's are alot better to OC )

Well you are the one who brought up their hexa core processors for no reason, the dude didnt even wanna discuss about it. So naturally I started talking about prices.

As long as you have that signature so everyone knows the PC you have, good.

Of course AMD doesn't have the same parts. But jesus, people nowadays are starting to become stupid - just because you buy one brand it doesn't mean you have to bash on the other one, or that it sucks.

There is a big difference between a 9500GT and a 9600GT.
More than double the memory bandwidth, pixel and texture fillrate and double the amount of shader processors.
Some more stats to back it up can be found in this comparison: http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards....=574&card2=557 .

I answered this before with my own expirience because I had almost the same specs before.
Only difference would be the RAM if you'd buy it, which if you ask me wouldn't help that much.

Maybe just buy up to 4GB and try to collect some more money to the rest for a new gfxcard(rather this) or processor.
