hello samp community, i'm confused but i have a question.
is it necessary to get a hosted tab for my server to get players? is there any good way to get players or something?
Well, my server is clean from bugs. i update it everyday and i've added unique ideas to it too.
but i've realised that my server had a stable playerbase 2 weeks ago, it was between 6-7/10
In addition to that, after my inactivity and my careness to life, the server has totally died.
So, what's the solution? getting a hosteb tab or wut? but if the hosted tab is necessary, what's the point from getting a normal premium server over here?

I dont know but without hosted tab, you won't get real players. Even if you got some without hosted tab, half of them are going to beg for Admin or other positions or refunds and other half are going to be the trollers or hackers.
Just try once with hosted tab, you will notice the difference but your gamemode should be attracting and different(not at all but quite different)

TBh, i don't have money to buy a hosted tab and it's for $25.2-$24 plus it's not cheap, but i have the money to buy a premium server.

but i've seen so many servers which are successful now and without hosted tab since their beginnings.
What did they do?

i think they purchased hosted tab, then stopped purchasing it when they got a stable playerbase

Not necessarily, but the hosted tab does surely help a lot, and makes it easier for people to find your server, I'm speaking from experience, this server on my signature was hosted for two months, and I rarely got players past 12, I'd always have an average of 5 people a day, sometimes none, but when I got on the hosted tab, my player base did grow, and fast. talking about a jump from 5 to 40/50 players overnight.
I'm not quite happy with how this works, I do hope this hosted tab is not paid for, but rather deserved.

Well, what about The Streetz Of Los Santos RP Server? it's not even on the hosted tab, the player base of it is so fucking low in the morning but it goes up to 40-50/70 players at night.
Btw, it's an old server since 2007, Maybe it's popular.. and the popularity of it helped the owner to get players to his server there and also his script too, plus it's old.
So, i have to buy a hosted tab?

I'm not giving you any promises, buy hosted tab doesn't mean you'll get all the players you want 100%, but it will help people reach your server easier.
after all, most of ppl search on the hosted tab list for servers to join.

Can you tell me why most of peoples search for a server to play in, from the hosted tab?
What about the internet tab?

Because it's reliable.

Internet tab isn't reliable as for the past few years it's simply been echoing the hosted tab.
