That will only attract trolls. And it won't gain any popularity. If you would have released it like 5 - 6 years ago then there was a chance but its too late now.

If you are doing it as hobby then it is good as it will help you gain experience in field of web development, but as I can see you are looking for web dev your self that means you are not gonna do it yourself so no gain for you.
