Idea is solid, marketing is great, all in all bravo for nintendo.
I have nothing against game and i respect makers for such success, but i have many things against idiotic people that play it (i dont say everyone who plays it are idiots). Idiots are people who walk/drive with a phone and search for a fucking pokemons, journalists that instead of recording meeting that could change balance of forces in a fucking world they are truing to catch a fucking pokemons.
Someone said that its a risk for nintendo, what risk? They launched a game and thats it.
Also technology is not new in any way as are not pokemons cartoons. But that technology has not been widely available before as it is now.

Or people just need to stop at the phone, just enable vibration and it'll vibrate once a pokemon are near.

This game is the only game that made, people who spend there days at home playing video games, eating junk food come out of there homes and enter the real world.
Imo about the game.I wasn't a big fan of Pokemon, I did watch it when I was young but I forgot most of the things regarding it since I was really young so yeah..

I don't like pokemon GO - it's dissapointing. Niantic is probably forbidden from adding real pokemon battles, as new pokemon (sun & moon?) are coming soon and nintendo doesn't want to lose money on sales. If it weren't for that, it could be wonderful. I'll stick to my pokemon blue on emulator, thank you very much.

There is an event going on called "Pokemon GO hunting" at the shopping center where I work. Haven't seen any children running around searching for pokemons though, but it's not like I really care. So many people suffered because of that game and it's by their own fault. Of course, it's an internet bomb which exploded and became so popular nowadays, but by the time, people will get bored of this game. It's the game like for those people who spend most of the time by sitting home and now they can finally get outside on fresh air.
