I'm looking for a decent computer to run most games on high settings, possibly medium depending on the game, and I'd also like to be able to edit videos without lag.

This is what I've got so far;

CPU: Intel Core i5 Quad Core i5-6600k (3.5GHz) 6MB Cache
Mother Board: ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming ATX LG1151, USB 3.1, SATA 6GBs
RAM 16GB HyperX FURY DDR4 2666MHz
Graphics: 4GB AMD RADEON R9 380
HDD 1: 120GB Samsung 750 2.5" SSD (For OS)
HDD 2: 500GB SATA-III 3.5", 6GB/s, 7200RPM, 16MB Cache
Power Supply: Corsair 450W VS Series
Processor Cooling: Super Quest Titan DragonFly Heatpipe
OS: Windows 10 Home Premium.

Total Cost: Ј880.

I've no idea what works best with what.. I'm not very good with computer parts.

I think you have to choose a better option for your SSD and a better Power Supply Unit

The price is high for such a computer, although you can run the latest games with medium-high settings with those specs
EDIT: As Sublime mentioned, SSD is always a better option

Right, so a better SSD. I really want it to be perfect before I buy it. Anything you'd change?

Don't get a Z170 motherboard if you're not planning to overclock. You've selected a non-overclockable, locked processor so that motherboard will do you no good. Instead, invest the money you save from the motherboard in a GTX 1070 which is due for release June 10.

A 120 GB SSD for the OS, and a 500GB-1TB HDD for any other files.

Also, get a R9 380 for better FPS at the same price as the GTX 960 (avg $200)

How about the PC case?

SSDs aren't always practical because they cost a lot more compared to an HDD with way more storage. Having an SSD to store the OS and other related information will speed up things like the computers start time.

Doesn't really matter as long as it suits your requirements. It's just that Z170 motherboards provide additional features for overclocking, which you won't be using, at a premium price. What I personally tend to look for is:

• Brand Asus or Gigabyte
• Form factor
• SLI support
• Color scheme
• Number of fan headers

Then I sort by price, low-high.
