I don't know why but my swimming looks so slow compared to other players which makes me look like I'm lagging, it has nothing to do with my specs because everything else (running, driving) looks good.

If you dont care about fps then you can always use " /fpslimit 20" and then swim it would increase your speed of swimming.

Try quickly tapping your sprint button to swim faster, i'm not sure if that works with swimming though.
It could also be caused by your ping or FPS.

Should you quick tapping the sprint button?. I have always thought you should just hold it haha. Akaward have played since about 2008.

You can hold the sprint button to sprint, or keep tapping it to run even faster, it says in the singleplayer lol.

To get to the best speed, turn on frame limiter in your display options and type /fpslimit 20.
