Hey guys, I know this is probably not the best place to ask this but I already have an account here so it's easier yadyadayada..

I currently have an Owncloud service set up, I use this generally to easily share files such as projects with my friends and classmates.

The other day I was using Whatsapp on my mobile, talking to my best buddy when he sent me a vid. I tried to download it, but my microSD was full once again so I had to remove some files.
I really dislike doing that because I prefer to keep everything just in case.

So I figured maybe I could set Owncloud up so that everytime I download an image, video or other file to my cellphone it will make a copy to my Owncloud so that everything will stay back-up'd.
Pretty cool right? Well turns out Owncloud can only automatically upload image files and not videos or any other files.

I considered moving onto AndFTP but before I do so I wanted to ask if people know any way to have Owncloud upload all files automatically.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I don't know but have you looked into Dropbox?. The closest I could came. I don't know if it even offers automatically uploading, just with pictures AFAIK.

What means with "yadyadayada" ?.

It's basically a bad English form for "etcetera"
Anyway, I personally don't like Dropbox. Besides I already have my Owncloud set up so I'd prefer to use that.

Owncloud seems to only upload images and videos from your camera, which sucks. So I am kind of hoping that anyone might know if there is a way to get it to upload any and all pictures, video's and audio files to owncloud automatically.

Oh, I misunderstood I thought that you meant a new program.
