Have u ever tried earning from ebay?

Hi dudes, I've seen crappy pictures on auctions that have been sold for $100 (or even more) many times. I want to ask those who tried selling their stuff on ebay if it's profitable.

Only if you want to make it a full time job. People who regularly sell things on eBay do so as an "eShop", they sell vast amounts of products 24/7. Unless you plan on buying mass wholesale items and re-selling then you're probably not going to make any money.

I have tried it a few times, but then if you screw up say on delivery or description is bye bye good rating.

I sell stuff on ebay but not like a shop, just if Ive bought something that I dont want.

Are you in the UK? If so, its not just as simple as "oh I'll set up a shop" because you have to watch for the tax man if you are earning over a certain amount.

That doesn't just include the UK, unless you live in a tax haven you'll still need to pay the fee's. But I doubt the OP will get to the "certain amount" any time soon

Yeah, will be most places but I only know about UK tax.

You would make more going out and getting a job perhaps?

Selling faked stuff is poor scam for dumb people. And I really dont like to make money from the stupidity of man, no matter how much it is.
ANd if you thought about "honest" sale of trash, forget it, the few succesful junk sales you hear about are just 0.1% of millions of failed 0 bid auctions. Id rather get a job than being a full-time ebay jerk.
