Hi,
I'm looking for a decent high- end laptop. Since I'm about to follow a IT study I want to get rid of my old laptop. Unfortunately my knowledge about the latest hardware is zero. Due the fact that I have the same laptop for ages I don't know which hardware is decent and which aren't decent.
I use the laptop mainly to develop so it is obvious that the laptop needs a good keyboard (prefered with backlit). Besides my study, I use the laptop to play the latest games, prefered on medium settings.. (Grand Theft Auto V | Saints Row IV | FIFA etc.). I also care about the design, whatsoever, that is a matter of taste. The budget range is Ђ0 - Ђ1.000
I did a little re-search by myself and I find the Lenovo Y500 and the Samsung Series 9 come close to my requirements and budget. Can anyone recommend me a decent laptop with my requirements and within my budget range?
Thanks a lot!

- SDD & HDD (only HDD is a bottleneck for decent hardware)
- Must be able to run latest games, prefered on medium settings.
- Must be able to run software as Photoshop properly.

I can't give you my personal experience but a friend in my class has the Vaio Fit 14 and he is extremely happy with it. Gaming will work fine depending on your setup (I would suggest atleast Intel i5 with 4GB RAM). Lower will work too but not on the highest settings.
