What is it with people hating on .tk domains

I have a free forum, once i can be bothered to learn web coding i'll move to the actual domain (.com). I've seen free forums that look better than half of the personal domains to date. Don't bark at me with the "Its cheap" option. If a server owner got the server up in the 1st place, and has kept it running, then he clearly isn't "cheap".

It's just bad for your server's reputation, you have to think about the clients you're trying to advertise for.
People don't like cheap, they like professional, you will be more likely to see a .tk domain name go down than you would a .com domain name.
A .com domain just attracts more attention than a .tk domain ever will.
