As far as I know he was once part of the development team, so it's really not a surprise to me. What are the other requirements to becoming a beta tester, other than owning a popular server?

like they mentioned above, he's been a developer once. so i guess he deserves more than "Beta Tester", maybe a dev place again ? yes he will be very helpful
