SOPA - Biggest Online Protest
#1

Hey guys I am sure you guys must have heard about this online piracy act bill. This scene is really interesting, I actually subscribed to SOPA updates and I recied this mail saying today 'January 18 2012' is going to be the biggest internet blackout where thousand's of sites blackout their websites.

Here are list of participants:
http://sopastrike.com/ (there is a huge list on this link)
Some of them are:
Wikipedia
Minecraft,
Wordpress (official site)
etc..

What are your views on this?

If I had the power to have some little consequences to some user I'd definatly blackout today too(doing it anyways).
Some big german *******rs started already too with blocking their content for today and only having a video up about informing the people about SOPA.

We here can't do that much sadly but protest.
Internet I'm out today.
Let's "kill" SOPA.

Exactly, just as Wikipedia said,

"Imagine a World
Without Free Knowledge"

The only thing we can actually do is protest here just as your said there saib. What would the outcome of this protest be? :/

not the us gov(YET)
they are blackingout themselves to protest against the Stop Online Piracy Act which would allow companies and the gov to censore and block off websites world wide.
