You should do likewise, where does it say I must give credit? Were there any restrictions attached saying I had to give him credit when I received the source code, no. Go ahead, prove me wrong, point out the section, and in any case there is no longer any code belonging to him since version 1.1. Lastly, you don't get to decide if I stay or not, so good riddance is kind of pointless, get off your high horse.

KoczkaHUN, I'll see what I can do, I'll try to make an onSocketAccept callback that'll spawn a socket with a new socket ID instead of recycling the one currently in use.

I, LOL'D at that post. You're clearly the stubborn one here. Compared to StrickenKid, you've only released one plugin and well StrickenKid has quite a few more. 2 of his large projects would be the MySQL plugin and SA:MP Live. He's also currently finishing up school and finals; giving a reason to stop development and focus on something more important than developing some plugins for some people who are ignorant and cannot wait for it to be fixed. Give him more time, it's like you're enacting hes a slave to you or something, and you want him to fix the plugins for you. And don't take it personally, it goes to everyone who can't wait for a person to update their work. Not everyone spends their life on a computer coding all day. Also saying (even as you already gave credit), nemesis- was right. You could've just admit to stealing the code and apologized. Wouldn't have started this flame war!

I'm ignorant and impatient for him to fix it because I decided to create an alternative myself? I never disclaimed stealing parts of his code, I don't know what the hell you are all claiming. I said from the start that I borrowed a couple of methods and subsequently replaced them with my own versions.

I don't see how you're so reluctant to acknowledge I said that, perhaps you refuse to read the conversation up until the point at hand? I borrowed a method and a loop, which the GPL entitles me to do without restriction or consent/permission, but I still went ahead and replaced them, I even gave him an honourable mention as he demanded despite there being nothing in my code that came from his code, not even the project files that I made using the New Project wizard.

I did read it, and I understood why everyone claims you took code, which you did. Editing the code just a bit does not make a difference in where the structure came from. And I never claimed you were ignorant for creating an alternative plugin.

I'm done stoking the flamers. If you don't want people using parts of their code, don't license it with the GPL. I'm not in the wrong and if you're just here to complain about your ideals, feel free to cry more, its just falling on deaf ears now, otherwise get a lawyer and pursue legal action.

Indeed, he clearly stated that he made it for his friend as they didn't want to wait for StrikenKid to update the other plugin (which has been in beta for years).

It allows a samp server to open network connections, like on a much broader scale than mysql and it's mysql_connect command. You can use it to connect to pretty much any server and send/receive data, the screenshot on the first page shows the script I made connecting to a mail server and reading an e-mail that the e-mail account had received.
