Should RP servers have a level system or not

Why should people be seen as "noobs" if they only have level 1, and a level 27 would be seen as god.

I think having levels or hours is for them stat whores, a level 1 most likely will be better than a higher level i don't see why they should be slated for having a lower level.

Level systems suck, and they are overused/abused. Playing time would be a better measure, as it shows who has put the most dedication into playing on your server, but can also be abused by AFK players.

Its easy to make afk anti cheat if its needed, thanks for reply.
