I will say this firstly as some people on this forum feel the need not to read the topic and just post. I'm not talking about a GM like GF or some edit of the GF.

Mostly talking about fliterscripts with say house systems/vehicle ownership or other released scripts, I'v seen many servers just download a fliterscript say using GarHouse then claiming they made it them selfs when you walk into a checkpoint and it clearly says 'GarHouse by [03]Garsino' which bugs me but then again the scripts are released to be used on other servers.

So i was wondering what everybodys opinion is on others using downloaded scripts.

I personally, never edited a script, and it's kinda stupid to edit a script for me. Editing GF = You are a beginner
Making a RP from scratch = You are a professional!

It's sort of lame. Released scripts are good to be used as reference, nothing more.

My main reason is that I usually can create the script itself OR that my style of scripting is different and so I CBA to even look at it.

They are for idea's on how they did something. But generally i come up with my own way to make things.

You can perfectly download an already done script, use it as a base and change everything on it, if you do it well no one will ever notice that it is a downloaded script.
