SA-MP has inspired me to pursue a programming career in the gaming industry (or just programming in general, but I'd really love to be a game developer) and I'm currently working towards that. Forgetting about all the things in SA-MP that annoy me (lack of basic core features, long-known and simple-to-fix bugs etc.) it's still an amazing mod and for that I'm very thankful.

It's also been the source of many years of fun, and I've met some cool people, some of which are now great friends.

somewhere to relax on the computer when you are bored. SA-MP has in many ways helped my coding skills increase and meet new people who have also taught me some stuff. I thank SA-MP for that.
