for 2 & 3, if your BIOS is Phoenix (as much as I can remember) Check under PC Health Status, there should be something there called Shutdown Temperature.
It will shut down your computer if the temp goes higher or is equal to that temp. As for #1, idk what that is, but I will be sure to look it up.
Also, if your fan does stop from time to time, it may be a sign to replace it, or clean it. Also, check to be sure that the connectors on the motherboard are not faulty, because that can also cause it, make sure to also inspect your computer tower from time to time to make sure that if dust accumulates that it is cleaned out, because this can also be another factor for computer CPU / Video card overheating.
