I have the same Exception (NOT internal error), tried reinstalling then it worked once on littlewhiteys then i quit for a few hours.. came back, and now i get the error message again.

..and i dont have the d3d9.dll and i have gta set to compat. mode and same with same tested all the compat. options, deleted the settings file and tried another graphics driver. scandisk antispy avast whatever i tried it.. but still nothing.

Im on Vista on a dual core 2.6 with 4gb ram. (medion)

Edit: errhm now my gta

a wont run either.. vista sux....

And i have NO MODS!
