Making an inventory with sub parameters...

How would I go about setting up a y_ini based inventory system that has items (that we can specify and call upon to be used later) that can have other modifiers such as weapon/item condition, quantity, etc.?

I know I'm going to have to whip out an assload of enums for this, but I really don't know how to get it set up.
