How to Upgrade My PC to 64 bit (Windows xp)
#3

1) Don't.
2) Get Windows 7 or Windows 8.

XP leaves support (finally) in April of this year - that means no more security updates, no more patches, no more help, nothing. The loss of security patches is the biggest point - that means any new viruses and exploits will not be fixed EVER, so you will just get more and more vulnerable to attack. Researchers actually think that the number of exploits released against XP has gone down over the last few months because virus writers are waiting till April to use all their new ones. If they use them now they will still be closed, so we are in an odd dip in activity that will surge in 2 months time.

Don't use XP!
