There's no difference in the code. However, you do want to make sure the plugins you're using are compatible. I know Gamer_Z doesn't make plugins compatible with Linux sometimes (not sure why). If your mode is using any features provided by one of his non-Linux plugins, then obviously you'll either have to remove those features or not use a Linux server. Albeit, the majority of servers don't use non-Linux plugins.

If you find out that your mode can't run on Linux, check out the list of server hosts and find a provider that uses Windows.
