I recently had the misfortune of having my thread, which advertised that I was hiring individuals to complete graphic design and video editing for a community currently in development, closed because I am only allowed to request help in a specific thread. Not only can I only ask for help in a specific thread, but I can only post one time in that specific thread. In other words, in two days my one and only post will be washed away by the plethora of other incoming posts and my request will forever be muted from that point forward.
Why must we be restricted to a single POST to advertise any and all services our community requests. I don't mind the fact that a specific forum doesn't exist for this subject, and I don't mind the fact that the thread itself exists, but if I choose to post a specific thread for my needs (mainly because I would like the ability to reply to the thread to provide updates and bump it to the top after due time) is it really necessary that it is closed?

Also, just checked and it appears my thread was not only closed but also deleted.
