If you already have a domain or plan on getting a domain, I'd recommend MyBB. It's a open source forum software that offers a ton of features. Most importantly, they offer great professional themes/skins to make your forums look great! The software is 100% customizable. You can add your own touch to the themes they have to offer! In addition, the software can also provide the basic essentials for a forum. Such as, usergroups, categories, post rating system, and much more! Check them out, bud! See if it works for you.
