I had that problem and i found a solution, atleast for windows 7 users.
Go to Coltrol Panel -> User accounts -> User acounts -> Change user accounts control settings
Then drag the thingy all the way to the bottom where it says "Never notify"
Hope this works for all out there that have this problem.

Well i had the same problem. All I did so it works again was this:
Go to your rockstar folder.
Right click on the samp.exe
properties > Compatibility > Change settings for all users
-Run This program in compatibility mode for: (Don't use this)
-Run this program as an administrator (Don't use this)
Now just start samp.exe by clicking right mouse Run as administrator. Or just run it without administrator.
Its works for me

Hey.
I got windows 7 ultimate x64.
Everytime i launch SA-MP or another game,
i get a small screen, not so small but i miss the 2 sides of the game, and see everything smaller.
The screen resolution is ingame on its highest.

- Mods can cause crashes
- Windows Aero can cause crashes (make sure It changes to Windows 7 Basic before loading up GTA:SA)
(Mine changes it automatically due to known compitability problems)
