Hello,
Would it be possible to make the draw distance limit for objects higher?
I would suggest it to be like this:
- When adding No draw distance parameter, it should be set to 300.0
- You can enter values smaller than 300.0
- You can ALSO add values larger than 300.0
There are no disadvantages to sa-mp in doing this. Only for servers, if you add too many objects with large draw distances.
Sa-mp shouldn't prevent laggy servers by limiting the draw distance, it's the server owner's responsibility to make sure that it doesn't get laggy.
Why?
Well, for example for a missile object that travels over large distances.
It's not nice when the missile launches, and the object + it's smoke suddenly disappears
Other example:
If you have a platform high in the sky, where you can land on with your plane, it's really not good enough to have it appear from 300.0m close. You don't know where you are heading, and suddenly a platform spawns in front of you.
(I'm talking about the really large custom samp platform object)
