Give me your input please of what you think would make a great Admin for a medium/heavy roleplaying server, just so I can get some tips and help other people out with this post.
Cheers

What..?
An admin should be: • Responsible - They should set an example to players on how to behave and follow the rules at all times. • Mature - they shouldn't act like a 5 year old, kicking people that 'annoy' them for example. • Experienced - it helps if they have experience. If it's their first time being an admin they may feel 'worried' to kick/ban people, but let them know it's what they do. • Helpful - They should ALWAYS help new players. • Committed - They should be committed to the job. They should want to be an admin to help the server, not for the power. • Respectful - They should respect higher level staff and of course the owner. • Fluent Language - It's no good having an admin that doesn't understand what 'How do you earn money?' means. • Informed - No good having an admin that doesn't know all the commands. This one down to you to inform them. Wow, I never planned on writing that much... |
