A REAL sa-mp map object editor!
#61

I'm NOT going throught 30 pages of text to find this...
When I open the Map editor and load it, I can us the shift to look around
But I can't use the WSAD... So I can look around but I can't effing move...
Can someone PM me the solution if they have it?

Nevermind Apparently you need to hold the SHIFT key + the WSAD keys to move...

Honestly I'm not sure if it's just a change in computers over the last couple years, but the camera moves way too fast for me.
I have to JUST BARELY tap W and HOPEFULLY it'll be somewhere near where I'm trying to land, and I don't even have a fast video card.
Athlon 64 X2 4200+, 4GB RAM, Radeon 4650 1GB PCIe, Windows 7 x86

I tried running it through a VirtualPC to slow it down, but I guess Windows XP Mode won't allow me to display textures....

Ever thought of reading the instructions?

PLEASE DO NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT THE SPEED OF PROGRAM, yes it is slow, no, currently i am not doing anything to speed it up tho.
Gonna have to just point out, he has the same problem I do: It's too FAST. In your reply you were under the assumption it was too slow. And yes, I have been using CTRL to slow it down, no help.
The way I see it, a couple things will greatly reduce the number of noobs who can't form a proper English sentence:
  • Put in nice 20pt red bold text on the first post exactly how the controls work ("Shift+WSAD to move, To slow it down also hold CTRL", Copy to SA install, press LOAD button while SA isn't running, etc)
  • Only one readme. Seriously, why are there two?
  • According to your readme, "hold ctrl to increase the speed of movement" which is the exact opposite of it's actual use
For now I just have to use an older PC just to keep it at a reasonable speed, but still having an issue with item rotation

I've got a problem. When I add an object, then export it, then put it into my game mode, the objects will sometime be
quite a way from where they were/ looked like in the editor. Anyone know whats wrong?

Before you add the object in your gamemode, check your coords, Make sure rotation x,y,z are not 9.99.

Example: CreateObject(17946, 2533.82, -1290.55, 36.95, 0.00, 9.99, 0.00);

nvm what I said about the ids...
It's awesome program but the rotations are not right, because I made a big ramp and exported it and took the coordinates from the pwn and when I see the ramp ingame, I see some crap over there. This program making wrong coordinates.
Is there another object editor? I really need it... Also the same problem with med.
