And to those asking about .f....as Kalcor stated revisions w/ "x" in them typically indicate the end of that major version (in this case, 0.3). I would assume from that that 0.3f will actually be 0.4a

Exactly the way 0.2x went on to 0.3a I remember joining everystuff before 0.2x came out and soon 0.3x will. Time flies.
