Can someone help me how to get copyrights for my website? I think it ain't just writing " Copyrights " under the website or is it? How does it work anyway?
If you file online using eCO eService, the fee is $35 per application. If you file using Form CO, the fee is $50 per application. Generally, each work requires a separate application. See Circular 4, Copyright Fees. |
Once you have created something, you automatically own the copyright to it; and it is yours for your entire lifetime, and 70 years after your death too. It must meet certain standards and be entirely yours for you to qualify to be able to call it your own and therefore enforce copyright protection on it.
