Custom scripted RP servers - Alex Valdez - 19.09.2014

Good night everyone,

I have a question that I'd like to ask my fellow SA:MPers that I have questioned my self about. Why does it seem that starting RP servers with custom scripts don't seem to get as much attention anymore? NGG edit servers also seem to not only get players, but also get a decent amount of donations (not really considered donations since NGG edit servers always have a shop where people pay 2 win) unlike unique servers. I'm speaking from experience here (yes, shame on me for creating NGG edit servers but I've learned that I was only destroying a layer of SA:MP by using an NGG edit) and the amount of progress on the NGG edit was so much better then my attempt right now using a complete custom script that I've had Emmet_ do for me. Is there several reasons, such as the lack of advertisements or what am I not understanding? I don't want to see any negative comments; I'd like to see comments that would help me, and many other server owners that are attempting to shape RP back into SA:MP.

EDIT: My apologies for not seeing the mass RP thread, still would like some several comments and answers regarding my question. Eventually, the thread will get lost somewhere.

Yea. I'm finding a custom server. I hate NGG game mode. Is there any good custom server?(RP)

Maybe they're TOO different from "established" scripts, i.e. don't use /b for local OOC, the command to see help or the list of commands are different, the script may be untested and buggy or underdeveloped. Many reasons.

First, Some of you are going OFFTOPIC.
Second, Alex Valdez i have to say that most people like NG:RP EDITS instead Custom Scripts because they know the commands, the gameplay and it's not hard to learn. If someone join a custom script server he will start asking(Example):
Player: Hello!
Admin: Hi
Player: Nice script, can you help me?
Player: I dont understand how to play here!
Admin: It's simple, use our /cmds, /help and dont forget to read /rules.
Player reads the /cmds, /help, /rules.
Player Quits the server.
That's what players do if they join a custom script. But i know that there are diffirent people that like custom scripts instead NG:RP edits.!

Seriously i hate ngg scripts , I would really like to see a good custom script rp server , And yes the custom scripted servers don't get much players , I also don't know the reason .

Maybe because the real RP players are all residing at once place, scared to crawl out of their caves because of the 300 trillion shitty NGG edits.
