Understanding Reputation System -
Saurik - 29.04.2012
The reputation system enables to members to give other members feedback on their posts.
If a person has a high reputation count, it does
not mean they are necessarily 'trusted' members.
Why Can't I post in the advertisement section?
You have to meet the following requirements to post an advertisement.
- 20 posts and 7 rep points
How to give someone rep?
You have to press on the little star under the person's avatar
example:
http://puu.sh/s8gn
How do I earn rep?
Please do not beg people for rep. It is very annoying and unwanted. If you want rep, post useful information and make positive replies. You can also help people in scripting discussion and post your own filterscripts, gamemodes and plugins.
Can I give negative rep?
No, the system doesn't allow you to give negative rep.
I gave someone rep but they don't get higher rep
You need a certain amount of rep/posts before your rep affects others. You need
50 posts.
I see that a lot of people repped me in my cp but my rep is 0, why?
It's because they don't have a certain amount of rep points/posts. They don't have
50 posts.
If the icon is green that means the rep affects you. If the icon is not, it doesn't.

(Reputation point if I helped you please)
You should put in that you need minimal 50 posts when you give someone a reputation. Otherwise it wont count. Nice tutorial by the way.

Of course it does.. if someone has 500 rep, you know they are a highly contributive member of the forum. That's the idea of rep.
