Hello mates..

I have a problem with starting up sa-mp..
It's running on Windows 7
if i start the game up via SA:MP, it'll run the game itself..

Happens sometimes! re-connect or hit options then go back.

This is caused by your game having version different than 1.0, please check https://sampforum.blast.hk/showthread.php?tid=41141 to find out how to downgrade.

I'm just curious to ask, but why is SA:MP only compatible with GTA:SA v1.0?

Well you might of not wanted another person to ask but, simply other executable versions than v1.00 of GTA San Andreas are patched and can not be 'fully' compatible to run with modifications and multi-player.

Because any version after that was patched to prevent mods, It's probably possible to make It work but since It works perfect with 1.0 and you can downgrade / make It work on any version there's no real problem.

(Yes, any version, including Steam version. Don't know how but I know people who plays with it).
