Haven't experienced any problems so far, the timerfix plugin by dan is known to mess up the intervals after some time.

plugin fixis2 the minimal "sleep" plug-in shuts down the server at KillTimer

The plugin you provided is the exact plugin from this thread. I've used it for some time and it had some known overflow bug which caused timer intervals to mess up (from 1 second to few ms)
Mine plugin was used constantly for over a year without any bug.
