I am half and half with legacy.
I like that now you have the option to toggle it,
but some servers won't inform that they have changed it and you will have to keep switching shooting styles between different servers.

It may start mass migration from servers with new sync to servers with lag shot. In this case server owners would be forced to enable legacy mode.
Avaliable best solutions:
a) shotcompmode as a rule, so players would know before connecting to server
b) shotcompmode as a rule + read-only and decreasing maxplayers to 32 if legacy mode enabled (ultimate solution because based on beta testers opinions this mode is supposed to be only for clan servers, and clan servers don't need more than 32 players).

I see no reason why it could not be an option IF Kalcor can easily implement it as so. If it will make people happy to have both as an option I do not see the problem. Variety is the spice of life.

i would partially agree with 3rd version because some of DM server would want to stick with lead aim sync and they would need some of max 200 slots probably. so yeah 32 is quite less.
also stop shitting around already. its great SAMP Team had made it for an entire choice to switch b/w both modes and yeah Server RULE should be added to client (and even servers should add [Lead Aim] to their servers maybe, or whatever, maybe this is a stupid idea though :P )

Sometimes what makes a mod so great is the bugs that make gameplay like this in the first place.
A racing game that was created in 1996 had backwards physics due to programming mistakes that allowed for bouncing off walls to be a way of maintaining speed rather than slowing you down. It is still played today due to this 'bug' and is still developed today.
No poll will ever be good enough to judge whether legacy mode should stay or not, so it's pointless even having them.

This poll is incredibly misleading because it doesn't say anything about 0.3z.
It seems to be asking players what they
currently do. Considering SA-MP shooting has been broken for the past 6 years, obviously they lag shoot - there's no other way to hit players.
Tell the community that the new version of SA-MP includes lag-compensated shooting like every other game in the world, and then ask them if they would still prefer to have to lag shoot.

It may well be a developed skill to be able to lag shoot, but it's a skill that fundamentally relies on randomness because of shooters and victims lag to the server, as well as their framerate. Being able to hit players should not be random.

In 0.3d or c IDK, there was removed the 14ms wait in every frame. Then the game performance boost up, then it was problem, why not option to disable this and use the 14ms wait time, like in singleplayer. Now has option to restore the old lag shoting, now this is problem..
WHO ACCUSTOMED THE LAG SHOT, HE WILL USE IT. WHO HATE LAG SHOT, HE WILL USE THE NEW SHOT SYNC.

You really think new players stand a chance with or without legacy mode? Your as simple minded as your post they never had a chance and never will. In fact it's much worse for new players now real skillaz can rape a noob in about 2 seconds with lag compensation pretty much before they even get a chance to shoot.

Well, despite my complete support for legacy mode, the truth is newbies stand better chances with skinshooting than with lagshooting.

Actually they stand a better chance, because most of the would be used to shooting at the skin. Lag shooting make it even harder for them to aim properly.
All that remains now for the sa-mp team to fix r-bugs, c-bugs and all that exploit shit that ruins this game. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind having a legacy mode for that crap as well.
