Probably because of bad internet / going somewhere where there is no internet available.
When my internet was working for 1 hour / day, I did the same thing.

@im yes you're right every function or something important in the wiki i download it in my computer in case of no internet connection i have the wiki help on my side,

and about the news Thanks! kalcor for the information's there was alot of arguments about that things in sa-mp forums and people saying entrusted things so this explains alot !!

So far the Wiki turned out pretty well actually. There are a lot of people working on it, improving/adding/fixing stuff, and I haven't seen anyone writing nonsense yet. Hope it keeps going like that!

My account doesn't work presumably because I have [] in my name as I get: "You have not specified a valid user name" instead of "There is no user by the name".

Same here, the fucking "™" symbol, won't let me log in. I did request for mods to edit my username, so far nothing happened.
