#1

Hey, I was researching Windows Home Servers, wanting to host my SA:MP server from home on it, and I came across this one, with the fallowing specs

OS: WHS
HDD: 1TB (1000 GB)
RAM: 2GB

How many servers would you say I can host from this?

Thanks

Just don't try hosting it at HOME.

Not at home? It's a stupid idea. You're going to:
1) Oversell
2) Deflate the server connection - People will have 900 pings, you won't be able to use your network for your own benefit
3) You'll probably get no customers as it's locally hosted.
4) Many other factors.

I wasn't talking about hosting other peoples servers. I meant mine.

None. You're using an average internet connection.

However, for a very rough guide, assume 40kbit/player/second.

Hence, 100 players would use 4mbit/second.

So I shouldn't have any problem with 100 players then, or more? [My math sucks D:]
