How many ppl can i host

my computer i have a

intel®Pentium® 4 cpu 2.80 ghz
also i got 1.74 gb or ram

and internet speed i got
Download - 9.75 mbps
upload - 0.47 mpbs

so how many ppl do u think i can host on my computer

Good enough for about 60 peeps I'd say, I ain't an expert so w/e lol

do you mean server's or slots that would help but i would say about 30-40 without lag or overloading

Upload speed is way too slow for 60 players.
It also depens on what gm you're running, and if you are downloading, are on msn/xifre, etc. etc..


I had 0.7 mb/s upload and i runned the standard gamemode 'cng', it started to de-synce with about 12 players.
While there where also 2 other computers on my network.

average samp server uses 40kbps upstream

0.47/0.04 = 11.75 slots

i'd say 6-8, home connections are usually very VERY laggy on the upstream

I got 43 players on a Intel Pentium Dul Core Inside , windows vista with 5mb download and 2.5mb upload , your pc might su pport same ammount of players or like 30+
