Hello.

I have a laptop that runs Windows 7 and I prefer working on it compared to my XP PC. But when it comes to SA-MP, I keep getting weird problems regarding pawno (and sometimes SA-MP Client). Because I couldn't find anything about this on the wiki, I would like to know if there will be any fixes for the Windows 7 OS.

Some problems:
* When I try to open a .pwn file, it gives me an error (Can not read "") or something like that.
* Sometimes when I click compile pawno simply crashes. It's random at times, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Windows starts troubleshooting help.
* When I close the server the OnGameModeExit() callback is not called

So does anybody know if the developers are trying to fix these issues for Windows 7?

You have to run Pawno as an administrator. Right click go to properties and select compatibility and at the bottom click "Run as Administrator".

Wow it worked...why didn't I think of that...

Thanks :]. Hopefully setting samp_server.exe to run as administrator will also fix the OnGamemodeExit() problem.
