(Client Bug) Screenshot on a dual display?
#1

This area seems like you all are talking about scripting bugs but here goes anyways...

I ran SAMP on a TV recently, and when I press F8 to screenshot, it turns up saying on the screen that sa-mp001.png and all that has been made...

But when I come out and check, it's not there.

As soon as I however go to the main display and do the same, the pngs turn up... yet no screens from the secondary display.

Someones probably hit it before, or you know someone who may have said it...

Probably is a post in here about it somewhere too.

Goto your GTA SA folder.

C:>Program Files>Rockstar Games>GTA San Andreas. It is located here.

No, They're not...

I get screens from the primary, but none from the secondary...

I run ATI Radeon 9200 Pro, with VGA Connector and an AV out.

VGA Connector is Primary, and gets screens fine...

If I switch to the Secondary I get no screens...

E.g. If I have sa-mp006.png in the folder, If I switch to the Secondary, I get the message saying that sa-mp0007.pnbg is saved, but it's not there...

It's an odd problem, and I'm now guessing a LOT of people have had it, and all that EVERYBODY says, is.... "It's in your c:\program files\gtasa folder..." When it's not going to be because the secondary display doesn't seem to be able to get the screen...

Look for this directory once:

C:\Documents and Settings\YourUsername\Application Data

\YourUsername\ = Your Username you are logged in on your computer (Master2k8 or whatever)

Nope, Not in there either...

It fully saves off the primary to the Program Files Install Folder, so I don't see why it would change it's mind and put it in application data.

Could well be a DirectX Bug, Seeing as MS sucks ass.

Although, I would say, this could be a bug with the client, seeing as it works on one, and not the other, and yet it even SAYS that it saved the png, then when you go look, those pngs aren't there... then when you switch to the primary, and use that, the same sa-mp004.png numbers turn up (As the files aren't there) and the new ones actually save.

Try searching for sa-mp001.png on your harddrives once.

And are you running GTA:SA as Administrator?

C:\Program Files>Rockstar Games>GTA San Andreas then when your in the map click a bit right up something like Incapable files. Click it, then probably it will show your pictures.
