Virtual Box on Mac OS X (Experienced Users Please)
#1

Don't bash me for my Mac, k?

Alright, so right now, I have Mac installed on my External 500GB HDD, while XP is installed on my Primary 120GB SATA. I have Virtual Box installed on both OS's, but I can't boot Mac from it because it breaks the End User License Agreement. Though, I can boot XP from Mac.

The problem is, is I don't know how to set it up to detect my installation on my Primary SATA drive. Does anyone have knowledge on how I can get it to detect another drive?

okay you should go to "bois" then find the things with numbers 1 to 6 i think then youll see hard drive is first second is cd-rom/dvd-rom
third is something elles and on....
so set virtual box number 1 then hard drive to 2 cdrom/dvd-rom to 3.

Sorry for my spelling mistiks.

I have Virtual Box installed on Both of my Hard Drives, with my OS's. I understand that if the files are on your hard drive, you can boot it from there. What I want to know is how to install a Virtual Drive off another HDD

There must be a way of doing this legally, because my school, have iMac's and they have Windows XP in them. They would never break the law, as they are pussy's. :L

So... try googling around.

Umm, thats called Bootcamp, and that's built into Leopard, but I am using Hackintosh, so BootCamp isn't available to me. Plus, with Bootcamp, it creates a partition on one of the hard drives, it doesn't direct to a certain Hard drive.
