i load the samp, and choose server and play. its all fine when i be choosing my character but as soon as i press Shift to spawn player the game freezes, after a while says not responding then crashes the game.

anyone kno why this happens and how to fix it?

What is the version of your GTA: San Andreas?
Do you have any mods installed?

it not really a crash, it freezes but i can hear everything in the background. if i press anything it says not responding and closes. i have no mods, how i find out version? xD

Go to single player and watch the start menu right down and see is there any v.2 or something like that. If there is nothing you have right version
