common problems solution:
Screen sticks at "Connecting to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxxxx"
The server could be offline, or if you cant connect to any server, disable your firewall and see if it works. ...

1) I'm sure the server is online
2) I've tried to disable the firewall
3) I have GTA SA v1.0

more info:

I have it with all the servers, except one: the opne hosted on my computer,
but I've checked my firewall, and the firewill from the router, even, when fully disabled I still get the "connecting to ..."
anyone has a solution maybe?

system specifications:
laptop running vista SP1
SA & SAMP not in program files
UAC turned off
CPU: 1.66GHz dual
RAM: 3GB
graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS

single player runs without a problem, my locally hosted server works aswell.

I've reinstalled GTA SA and SA-MP, downloaded samp again yesterday for it
so yes I have.

more detail about firewall:
DMZ on router, windows firewall disabled for testing, avast disabled for testing

edit: when starting sa-mp again I got a new "version" yesterday there was probably a little problem on installation, testing if it will work
still not working, please help be4 it worked, I don't know why it doesn't work now
