Desynchronization

I have a few problems with desyncronization, because the players are complaining about losing their weapons when quitting the server with the "clock frozen".

What is the best method to detect with precision when the player is desyncronized?

I've tried the method that it's in the forum, that gives weapon/ammo to player at OnPlayerUpdate, but it has so much false positives.

Could you guys help me?

Maybe do a ping check and make them rejoin the server.
