Pickup problem on vice city map
#1

Hello, is there a way to move all the objects from vice city map closer to main land so I can use the pickup models ?

if so is there a tool to move a complete mapping at once ?

I actually slapped together a tool for this a while ago because I had to move some mapping around. I published the source on GitHub in case you want to build it yourself. If you can't find out how to use it, let me know and I'll help you out.

Disclaimer: As stated above, it's slapped together meaning that it's no neat or optimal code. It does however get the job done.

Is it also possible to move vice city since those are custom objects from 0.3.8DL

If they are created using CreateObject code then yes. It basically takes the raw text you put in, takes the values it needs, does some math and then pushes it out in correct creation code.

The problem is those are custom objects see:

After I replaced all 'CreateVC2SAObject' with 'CreateObject' the tool didn't throw any errors. I can't compile to check if it works at the moment, but you could probably give it a try and see what it does.

I tried to do that replace CreateVC2SAObject with CreateObject and put it in the tool then it only shows 1 line of createobject insteat of everything.

With 'replace with with CreateObject' I also meant to include, that you should strip the last 2 parameters to keep only the CreateObject parameters. I understand that this isn't really optimal, so I'll try to update the tool today to include native support for the 'CreateVC2SAObject' function. I'll post (or edit this one if no other replies are posted) here when I've updated it.

Update: I've added the base for different object types. I tested it with your code, and it moved without any issues.
