SA-MP Crash [0x7607C54F]
#1

FIXED!

I had to create a new user account (Windows 7), delete the profile data and registry key. Then, while still logged in on my admin account, switch to the alternative account and it should run to avoid that Explorer.exe crash that started happening after some ransomware that I dealt with many years ago.

I went back to the Runtime Error and reinstalled every single runtime library (from 2005 w/ x86 and x64 to 2017). Then, instead of placing and running SA-MP from original drive (HDD E:\), I moved it to the desktop (C:\) and voila! It worked.

------------------------------------------------------------- OUTDATED
So after using CCleaner one day, this started happening. I first encountered Runtime Errors, but I fixed that ages ago - however, this remains and I've been trying to solve it for weeks.

Rename your GTA:SA folder and see if it does anything.

I've also experienced this after using CCleaner, try reinstalling SA:MP 2-3 times and it will fix itself. (worked on the 2nd time for me)

Try this:
Download it from here: http://www.gtainside.com/en/sanandreas/mods/64680-mmge/
Open the file and go to MMGE203\[Windows 8(.1) Users IMPORTANT
Copy startup_SAMP into your SA directory and run it AS ADMIN.
Also make sure you have DEP disabled for gta_sa.exe

I'll just throw it around because people usually don't: install DirectX Redistributable June 2010 and restart pc.

Neither works.

Uninstall graphics drivers and use Display Driver Uninstaller in safe mode [holding F8 at computer boot, before Windows boot screen appeared, and using arrow keys to select Safe Mode and then pressing enter]. Then install the latest graphics driver version [if it's AMD ReLive on a card from 2015, use 16.11.5 for this test instead].

Something that probably won't fix it but just takes some downloading: https://www.sereby.org/site/All%20in%20One%20Runtimes
Untick Java Runtime Environment, Adobe Flash/Shockwave, Microsoft Silverlight and install.

You can always reinstall Windows. Finding the problem if it's not trivial will take effort and time but always yield less or nothing.
