I would suggest you to start using 3ds max to avoid such issues.

Move the object to the ground in blender.

Object > Apply > Rotation
Object > Apply > Scale

Then export again, redo the col.

I would guess that you have aligned the texture using UV scaling (Texture > Mapping > Size) and the UV scale does not export. You'll have to fix the scaling by resetting the texture sizes to 1.0 and scaling the UV map, not the texture mapping size.
