Introduction

Today I was bored and talked to a few people about making a tournament for Call Of Duty 4, quite alot of people were interested in it so here it is! Proud to announce the first SA-MP Call Of Duty 4 tournament, this tournament is not only for clans but also for teams, this means anyone can team up with eachother and fight in the tournament. The tournament is sponsered by 99blazed and sneakyhost.net, the team who wins will get a free Call Of Duty 4 server for a month! Hopefully this tournament will be a success and we will have another tournament after this one. Anyways let me explain the rules, the gamemode you will play and how you can apply for the tournament as a team.

Information

The Gamemode

The gamemode you and your team will play is PROMOD Search & Destroy (a.k.a S&D). PROMOD S&D is THE game type to play if you want to play Call of Duty 4 competitively. PROMOD S&D matches require a totally different skill set than any other Call of Duty 4 game type because it is objective based as opposed to kill based.

Gamemode Rules

• 5 vs 5
• Three maps with a round limit of 24 on each map (mr12).
• Teams switch rounds after 12 rounds
• Maps: Strike, Crash and Crossfire (More info below)
• Team to win 2 out of 3 maps advances in the tournament

Final Note

Max teams will be 12 (if more then 12 teams apply we will increase it), if you want to train on these maps you may connect to our tournament server @ 91.121.177.36:28970 which runs the tournament maps & tournament rules. Our admins are Sneaky, DARKWAR3, ExPloiTeD and 90N1N3. (more info will/might be added if needed to this post)

hi all.

We had some problems installing Promod onto the server, so for now we're just going to play the standard CoD4 SnD.

Great to see some interest, we will add your clan/team name to the ladder once you post a lineup.
You can also add a small logo to your slot in the ladder to make it look more interesting, but it must have your tag or name clearly shown on it. Just post it here and we'll add it next time it gets updated.
